A modern-rustic retail fit-out for a high-end wine shop with a feature sales area, tasting areas, and private event space in the back. Exterior improvements, including minimalist industrial plate steel canopies, were made to celebrate the neighborhood’s industrial vernacular.
A custom modular shelving system was created for product display throughout the store. Rustic hickory plywood sheets employ CNC-cut perforations to accept different module types, each custom designed to display a different product (wine bottles, dry goods, glassware, etc). The modular shelving system allows the store to be infinitely re-configurable and provides returning customers a subtly different experience with each visit.
